| A gift came to me when I left the banking world and found Stampin’ Up! It allows me to share my gifts of teaching, caring and encouraging others to share what they make. I grew up in a family that made gifts for each other. I am passing on the traditional value of handmade to others. I offer classes, clubs and workshops that teach people to make items for their homes, cards, family albums for themselves or to share.
What do you treasure in a gift? The fact that a friend created something specific with you in mind adds to the ‘treasurability’ factor. That factor allows you to feel more special than a store bought item of the same monetary value. I teach people to make those special gifts. A few of my favorite gifts are personalized stationery, personalized gift card holders in the shape of tiny purses and a scrapbook album about my favorite things. If you would like to experience this joy of giving handmade items, join me for a class in the Cat/Art Studio. I am a teacher who loves what I do. I have taught first and second grade, all levels of special education and even, bank tellers. I presently teach people to use rubber stamps to create handmade items for themselves and their friends. I love to share what I do and schedule an opportunity event monthly. If you’d like to attend the next event it is scheduled for Monday evening, August17, or Monday evening, September 21. This a one hour meeting beginning at 7 PM in the Cat/Art Studio.
